Wow, I swear I wasn't trying to do this, but somehow I managed to think about my DA page almost exactly one year since my last journal entry. Got engaged over last summer and have been saving up for the wedding ever since.  Most of my artistic endeavors have been directed toward some Disney-themed screencap mods to use as decorations during the reception (will probably post them very soon).  I've also got an awesome concept for the Save the Dates that will make for some great laughs and probably an awesome facebook banner.  Other than that, though, life seems to be going by very quickly.  Without school/summer vacation to break up the season

Seems like it's becoming a trend that I update this sucker once every 12 or so months...  Since my last journal I've bought a house and become almost entirely engrossed in home improvement/maintenance, cooking, and a whole assload of martial arts training.  Even my good ol' Xbox is feeling the neglect.  But all the same it's a new chapter in my life and things are going swimmingly, made easier with the help of a lovely girlfriend (though her not-so-subtle hints for an engagement ring weigh on the soul). Just looking at my last journal entry and realizing how little I actually use it.  Seeing a year pass since the last free sketch meme almost made me want to start that back up, but I don't know if I have the steam to finish 10...  Maybe a scaled down version with 3 freebies?  Idunno, comment if you want one and perhaps I'll make it so. In other news: *  Big boy job sucks up a good chunk of my time, preventing late night drawing/gaming binges where I used to get most of my best work done... *  Jiu Jitsu/Muay Thai/Judo six days a week takes up another good chunk of my time and energy, though I do so love it... *  Hunting for houses is a lot
